Madebyheroes is a foundation that is close to my heart and that I founded myself. It is a creative social workplace in Amsterdam where young people with disabilities can develop at their own pace. We offer day care and work-study places in an inspiring studio, where talent, fun and structure come together. Together we make design products that we sell online. In this way we not only create beautiful things, but also real opportunities: the proceeds go directly back to the guidance and growth of our participants, with the aim to share the profit.
My Role:
As the initiator of Made by Heroes, I work every day to give young people a place where they feel seen, heard and challenged. I develop the concept, manage the team and build a sustainable organisation that combines social and creative entrepreneurship.
My motivation? Believe in talent, in growth, and in a world where everyone can participate – in their own way.
